Part 2 of goal setting and going after what you want!




Lets reflect on last week….What is it that you really want? What is your real goal? Is it really to lose weight? I doubt it, and I am sure there is a lot more to what you want!

If you have not done this, I want you to really think and do this! It is the first key to success and getting the results you want out of life. Goal Setting

You see, there are lots of ways to lose 20 pounds, and I am sure you already know this. But, I want to get you that lean body that makes you feel great! I want you to make sure the way you approach this change produces less fat in your body, and healthy muscle for a long term benefit.

In order to do this, we need to raise your standards, change your beliefs and develop the right strategy.

If you have failed in the past, it is because you did not apply all proper steps, and I really want you to apply yourself, to dig down deep and to get into this program and make it a lifestyle!

Let’s get started with this week….

I want you to write down a list of everything you eat throughout the day! This will let you know what you are putting into your body!  Next, make it a habit to move 15 minutes more than you usually. If you are truly sedentary, find time to go for a walk. If you are already exercising regularly add 5-10 minutes to your routine.

We are implementing new patterns and taking baby steps which will allow you to see progress each day and get you on your way to a healthier lifestyle.

We want YOU to Think, feel, and do the things you want to do!

The more you measure your patterns, the more you will be able to change old habits and create new habits!

You see, most people have a fear of the unknown and unconsciously have mixed emotions.

People believe they can accomplish a task, but do so with a number of doubts in their head.  They link change to what would this mean to my life?  They create all these limited beliefs to stop them from getting what they want.

Does this sound familiar? If so, you are not alone, and you can begin right now to change that habit.

Our brain has been programmed with a survival instinct to avoid pain! If you keep doing this over and over, it prevents you from getting what you want!

Think about the last time you told yourself it was ok to eat that cookie or divulge in that ice-cream because you worked out or will work out tomorrow?

I have been there, and know how that feels. But, we have to break out of it, and realize that for every disciplined effort there is a great reward ! Whatever we believe about eating or excess weight, we need to change this belief!

Take a moment to think about beliefs that have been preventing yourself from getting what you want.

Here is a major one people think when it comes to lifestyle change, they think that their problem is permanent….

This is one you must avoid at all costs!

I can show you that anyone can change their metabolism at any stage in life! Research has supported this with 70 year olds who are now in better shape than they were in their 20’s.

Beliefs destroy our capacity to change! I want you to start thinking positive and creating a change of habit that makes you feel vital and alive, but only you can do this!

More often than not, we fail to ask ourselves about the other factors that prevent us from getting what we want. Whatever it is your belief, you must stop thinking like that now and start looking at the positive part of exercise!

There are plenty of exercises that are right for you and your situation! You don’t have to spend hours on end, or do tons of programs.

We want to create a lifestyle of change that makes it fun to create new habits that make you feel great! No magic pill or surgery will get you away from your limited beliefs. Sure they make temporary relief , but they will not change your life!

This is why I want you to write down beliefs in terms of things that have been preventing you from getting the body you want and empowering beliefs that will help you get to where you want to be!

So go ahead and do that for us right now, it is a very important step in creating change.

When you look at these beliefs, can you see the mixed feelings you may be creating?

So how do we deal with this? Well, a real belief is nothing but a feeling of certainty!  So what makes you feel certain about something?

Try this….

An idea is like a table top with no legs. Nothing will support it and it will fall. A belief is a table with legs, and it will stand. That certainty has legs and reference experiences. Each leg under the table top is a experience that has created certainty in life.

So what is the problem with the table with no legs? They are simply references that have not helped you succeed in life, and where most people are stuck.

The past does not equal the future! Who you are today is different, and what you chose to do today, will shape the way you think tomorrow!  Stop living in the past!

So how do we create a feeling of certainty? We get into a state that makes you want to succeed.

Look around you and find people who have succeeded in the past. Success leaves clues, so go out there and surround yourself with people who have changed and want to change.  Give yourself a vision of where you want to go.

This simple sense of visualization of what you will feel like when you achieve your goal will give you the power to succeed.  You must have a sense of vision and hope, and it starts by making a decision of certainty.

It all starts with you, and we cannot do it for you! Lets do an experiment…

Closer your eyes, and imagine hoping that you will get to the body you want! Feel your body that you hope it will work out, hope it will finally happen, feel the hope. Picture what it will feel like to hope that iti will work…

Now change that state and create a certain state! A sense of expectancy that you know you will get the body you deserve! You have the right tools, the strategy, to get what you want! Picture the certainty, and feel it in your body. Notice the difference in your body, the difference in what you are picturing.

Now go back to hope…

Then go back to expecting….Breath it in, feel it, you know it! This is the belief you want!

You want to experience it in your body, and feel certain that you will succeed! You have the power to make the change in a single minute.

Get in that state of certainty, and write down powering beliefs as to why you know you will succeed!

Great, now get rid of those limited beliefs….Stop questioning your will to succeed, and you accept the fact that you deserve the body you want!

Look at your limited beliefs and ask yourself questions as to why you think they stop you from getting what you want? I guarantee with your new sense of certainty you will think these limited beliefs are stupid.

So get out there today and start believing in yourself to go after what you want, and start enjoying the change that you deserve!
