It’s Monday, Wooohooo!
Yes, you read that correctly it is Monday and it is time to go back to work, and for lots of people that means being hunched over at a desk forcing bad postures.
This is why I am starting mobility Mondays : Exercises that will help you move and feel better.
Exercise of The Week : The Yoga Plex
How Does It Help? It actually does a lot. From opening up your hips and upper back, the yoga plex is a huge bang for your buck. More specifically, the position in the yoga plex helps work on extension of the hips and thoracic spine. Both of things of which people lack in especially those who sit at a desk all day.
Check out the video for a quick demonstration on how to set up and perform the exercise. You can use this drill in a warmup or as a set in between exercises. Can’t get to the gym? Try this at your desk if you have some space and work attire that can work with it.
