If you are frustrated with your progress in the gym and still can’t figure out why you aren’t getting results despite all of your efforts, then you need to read 5 common mistakes that are killing your results.
Even the best workout plan won’t work if you are not consistent with your actions.
There are no quick fixes, and if you want results, you need to learn how to adopt a lifestyle that is consistent with what you want to achieve. Which brings me to my next point- sustainability.
2) You Need A Sustainable Plan
Most people want to get the fastest results possible. And while it is perfectly fine to want to quick results, more often than not, those crash diets and quick fixes end up hurting you in the long run.
Instead of trying to get results fast, learn how to find a balance between fitness and life. This can be done through finding a plan that teaches you habits over the course of a few months up to a year.
As such, you can build small sustainable habits that will create the lifestyle in which you want to achieve. Nothing good was built overnight, and the same thing can be said about building a healthy body.

3) You Must Master The Basics
There is so much information out there today that it can be easy to get caught up in the noise. And I get it, doing new stuff is cool, but if you can’t master the basics of sleep, nutrition, and hydration, you really don’t belong spending multiple hours in the gym or looking for the latest workout.
Work on aiming for 6-8 hours of sleep, drinking at least half your body weight in ounces per day, and eating more lean meats and veggies, and I guarantee you’ll see better results.
4) Workouts From Magazines and Social Media Are Poorly Structured
Most people I see in the gym are following some type of workout plan form an online source or magazine.
It’s great that people are working out more today, but many of these programs are loaded with too much intensity and volume, and people often get injured or just quit because they get burnt out quickly.
Remember, just because someone on Instagram has a six-pack or a big butt, that does not make them an expert.
The people I work with don’t come to me because of the killer workouts, nutrition advice or cardio plans, they come to me for accountability and coaching.
And that is because if you want to maximize anything in life, you need someone to hold you accountable and help you step outside your comfort zone to grow.
Which is why I am doing a FREE 30 Day Challenge Starting May 7th
