5 Battle Rope Moves That Blast Fat

It’s no secret that I love a good battle rope circuit.  I was first introduced to them in the Marine Corps, and have loved them ever since. In fact, I even have a few articles published on STACK and Tony Gentilcore’s website on battle rope finishers.

Battle ropes are great for guys who want to pack on muscle and blast fat as they target the upper body and core without adding a lot of stress to the joints. Not to mention they can be a fun way to get your cardio on without spending countless hours going for a run.

5 Battle Rope Moves That Blast Fat Fast

You are going to put 30 minutes on the clock. For each exercise, you will perform 60 seconds of work and rest for 30 seconds. At the end of each circuit, you will rest 90 seconds and repeat the circuit 4 more times. This is not as easy as it looks!

Alternating Waves – 60 seconds

Figure 8’s- 60 Seconds

Reverse Lunge – 60 Seconds

Donkey Kong Slams- 60 Seconds

Russian Twists – 60 Seconds
